Easy crochet shell stitch
This pretty lacy stitch is very easy, but it looks lovely. It’s perfect for beginner crocheters.
Hook of choice.
Multiple of 4.
Start with a chain.
Row 1: ch3, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2dc) all in the 4th ch from hook ; sk 3 ch*. Repeat from * to* along the row. Turn.
Row 2: ch3, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) all in ch-space*; Repeat from * to* each in next ch-space. Turn.
Repeat from Row 2.
The shell stitch is one of the most basic crochet stitches and can be used for many different projects. It can be used for hat , slouchy beanie.
Create a soft scarf with this pattern , which would also make a great homemade gift!
Abbreviations:
ch chain,
sk skip,
dc double crochet,
* * repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as there are stitches to accommodate them.

Easy Crochet Baby Blanket Free Pattern
This is a simple crochet baby blanket. I like that there are no obvious rows or lines as happens with single or double crochet. Switching them up in this pattern blurs the lines and produces a lovely thick fabric with a wonderful drape.

I love knitted flowers, yours is great! With a small amount of scrap yarn, a spare hour or two and my favorite free crochet flower patterns, I can create beautiful little bursts of color in no time. Crocheted flowers make great package toppers or, take off the tie and you can embellish afghans, pillows, bags, clothing, and more.
This easy pattern for a small flower for beginners.
Abbreviations: Chain Stitch (Ch), Slip Stitch (SL), Double Crochet Stitch (DC)
Chain 3, join with the beginning stitch
Round 1: *Chain 3, SL ST through the chain loop. Complete 5 times from *, join at the base of the beginning stitch to join. (5 chain 3 loops total)
Round 2: *SL ST in to the next chain 3 loop. CH 1, work 5 DC through the CH 3, CH 1, SL ST in the same CH 3, Complete 5 times total from *. Join with the beginning stitch.

Its absolutely ideal for crochet summer hat or for crochet scarf, I really like this crochet stitch pattern.
Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in next ch **, repeat * to ** to end of row. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in same st as ch-3 just made, * skip 2 dc, 1 sc in next dc (which is the center st of the 5-dc shell), skip 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc **, repeat * to ** to end of row, ending the last repeat with 3 dc in last sc, skip turning chain. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, 1 sc in first st, * skip 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc, skip 2 dc, 1 sc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to end of row, ending last repeat with 1 sc in top of the ch-3 turning chain.
Repeat rows: Repeat rows 2 and 3 consecutively, until desired length is reached.

dc = double crochet

st = stitch
