O yes, thumb is a slippery part of the anatomy to cater to.
Thumbs are the reason most people quail at the thought of knitting mittens. I want my fingerless to fit perfectly.

Looks nice and simple! I am tempted to try. Or maybe I'd rather buy a pair... I love green with orange :) I am afraid that if I knit myself it will take me several years :)
